Pay Per View - Century College
April 7, 2017 12:00
We are doing Pay Per View outreach and vegan food sampling at Century College in St. Paul today. Pay Per View is an innovative form of outreach where people are offered $1.00 to view a short film about the lives of animals used for food, answer follow-up questions during a debrief conversation with a trained volunteer, and then go home with information about how changing their eating habits can make a huge difference for animals, the earth, and themselves. This is a life-changing experience for many viewers. ARC has an enthusiastic team of volunteers who make Pay Per View happen. Join this team and get training in how to have powerful, effective conversations about animal issues and plant-based eating. Email chelsea@animalrightscoalition.com for more info.

Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale at 1:00 pm
Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale
April 15, 2017 1:00 pm
It\'s that time of year again! The World Wide Vegan Bake Sale is the biggest and best bake sale of the year. All proceeds will benefit SoulSpace Farm Sanctuary. SoulSpace, located in New Richmond, Wisconsin, provides rescue, rehabilitation, and a permanent safe haven to farm animals in need. Come and bring your friends to stock up on lots of vegan goodies. Sweets and savories, we\'ll probably even have treats for dogs! Remember to bring a box or container to haul your loot home because we\'ll be charging for boxes to keep the event eco-friendly. If you donate baked goods, make sure to write the ingredients down so people with food allergies are well-informed. Donated items should be pre-wrapped or cut so that they\'re easier to divvy up. Please drop them off between 12 and 12:45 on the day of the sale or between 12pm-6pm the day before. The sale runs from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Ethique Nouveau, 317 West 48th Street in Minneapolis.
