ARC has teamed up with Fur Free Minneapolis and would like you to join us for the first official community event: BINGO night at Sisyphus Brewing in Minneapolis (across from the Sculpture Garden). The goal of this event is raise awareness about this issue, raise some funds to support this campaign, build community with folks who care about animals, and of course have tons of fun while doing it! Free admission + $2 suggested donation for bingo cards (CASH ONLY). There will be super tasty crepes from Crepe and Spoon for purchase and delicious Sisyphus beverages (beer and soda) plus sweet Bingo prizes. Please share/invite your friends and family and anyone you know who cares about protecting animals!

Everything is vegan at Eureka Compass Vegan Food, 629 Aldine St. in St Paul, including both the groceries and the prepared items. Chef and proprietor Colin Anderson will have easy weeknight meal suggestions and recipe ideas that use products available in the store. ARC will have a booth at the Longevity Expo at the Maple Grove Community Center. This is the busiest one-day health show in Minnesota with up to 150 exhibitors, 2 stages, and lots of demos and product sampling. We will be doing vegan food sampling and Pay Per View outreach, where we pay people $1 to watch our 4-minute virtual reality video about the lives of farmed animals and then provide information on how to transition to a vegan diet.

Meet at the intersection of County Road 10 and Jefferson, on the grassy area in front of Chipotle. Signs are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. We oppose Four Paws and a Tails business model of buying companion animals from breeding facilities and selling them to the public. ARC's VegKins group for families raising veg children is having their annual vegan egg hunt at Fuller Park in Minneapolis. Your child can search the playground for plastic eggs (reused every year) with goodies inside. The kids really enjoy this. There has been a lot of buzz about Pizza Control, the newest vegan start-up in the Twin Cities, and we’re so excited to announce their first pop-up at Ethique Nouveau (co-located with the ARC office at 317 W 48th St. in Minneapolis). There are 4 varieties to choose from: Sriracha Mac and Cheese, BBQ Jackfruit, Elote, and Buffalo Wing. The pizzas are 14 inch, $18 each, and Pizza Control is accepting payment by cash, Venmo, or Cash App.

Join us for an ARC Volunteer Day at Chicken Run Rescue! RSVP on Animal Rights Meetup as soon as possible as this popular event is limited to 20 people. Now that Spring is here, there will be plenty of clean up outside to get things ready for the birds to soak up the sun and take their dust baths. We will help to get the birds’ playgrounds ready for spring. We will be performing any tasks that need doing, including garden work. There will be plenty of variety for all levels of strength and mobility. Vegan refreshments will be provided. Event is from noon to 3:00 PM. CRR is located in the South Metro area about 30 minutes from Minneapolis and St. Paul. For security reasons, CRR is a closed sanctuary open only to staff, volunteers, and invited guests. We will send out the exact address to those who RSVP YES prior to the event.
