Protest the Pet Trade: Stand Up for Animals Sold by Petland! We oppose Petland's business model of buying companion animals from intensive breeding facilities and selling them to the public. We also oppose the idea that because a breeding facility is USDA licensed, it is ethical. At this peaceful and legal protest from 11 am to 1 pm, we will provide signs to all protesters, and protests leads can answer questions from the public. Petland is located in Sun Ray Shopping Center in Saint Paul, MN. Protesters are allowed to walk and park on public property ONLY. The mall lot is private property, so please either find street parking or parking behind the mall lot. Please walk around the mall lot where you will find us on the public easement (the grass) in front of Sunray Shopping Center. Petland St. Paul is located at 2123 Old Hudson Road in St. Paul.

Each year Canterbury Park in Shakopee adds "extreme" races to its usual lineup of horse racing, proclaiming "It's a real zoo! Camel, Ostrich, and Zebra races!" Let's use our voices to peacefully show the Park and its patrons that we don't believe animals should be bred for and used as entertainment, exotic or otherwise.
