|3||4||5 End Animal Addiction Protest at 1:00 pm
Your attendance at No Pain in My Name protests is always needed to send Dr. Marilyn Carroll and the U of Minnesota the message that 30 years of forced animal addiction is too long. However, we need you more than ever at this event because Nick News will be there from NYC with a film crew to focus on Lilia, our summer intern. This event offers us the amazing opportunity to bring national (even international) attention to Carrolls research practices. Event is on Thursday, June 5 from 1:00-3:00pm at Moos Tower at the U of M (NOTE: We are meeting at the Moos Tower location on Washington Ave. Mall; if you are at the intersection of Harvard St. S.E. and Washington Ave. Mall, we will be just west of there). Contact: Kim at email@example.com for more info.

|21 Tour of Chicken Run Rescue at 12:00 pm
Calling all pre-vegans. Have you been thinking about going vegan but have been on the fence for a while? We have a very special opportunity for you and we hope it will help you get off the fence and take the plunge. Chicken Run Rescue is allowing us to tour their rescue and sanctuary so people can meet some of the hens who were previously exploited for their eggs or the roosters who ended up homeless because they were roosters and unwanted. Having the opportunity to spend some time with these individuals may be the inspiration to finally go vegan. Bringing friends and family who are not yet vegan is an option if you are already vegan, but we ask that you bring someone with you who is NOT vegan so we can take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to have the birds speak for themselves.
