Join ARC for ARC Activistsβ Circle, a brand-new monthly online gathering for our volunteer community!
On the first Monday of each month, weβll hop on Zoom to connect with fellow advocates, share updates about upcoming campaigns and events, hear your ideas and opinions, and answer questions. Itβs a relaxed space to stay in the loop, build community, and talk all things animal advocacy with other passionate activists.
ARC Activistsβ Circle is designed for current volunteers and people interested in volunteering. If you have general questions about ARC outside of volunteering, please reach out to our office by phone or email during store hours.
To keep this space welcoming and productive for everyone, we ask that participants:
-Be respectful and allow others to finish speaking
-Avoid interrupting
-Use considerate language
-Treat everyone with fairness and kindness

Visit Vegan University's table for our first farmers market date of the season at the Midtown Farmers Market on Saturday, June 6th!
Vegan University is a program of the Animal Rights Coalition to help people go - and stay - vegan. We'll focus on showing people the numerous benefits of eating plant-based by handing out free plant-based recipes to go with the produce offered at the market and providing a variety of educational information about plant-based nutrition, sustainability, animal rights and social justice.

We'll hand out ARC's Vegan Guide and encourage individuals to watch a 5 minute virtual reality video on the harsh realities of factory farming (we'll pay them $1!). Volunteers are needed to help distribute literature and talk with individuals about animal rights and the benefits of going vegan.

Join Jordan, one of the Animal Rights Coalition Dine Out hosts, for lunch at J Selbyβs! This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded folks and have a delicious meal while supporting restaurants with great vegan options.
Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be vegan to attend, but all items ordered need to be vegan.
Parking:Β Street parking is available
RSVP AGREEMENT:
Please make sure to keep your RSVP up to date and arrive on time. These dine outs often fill up fast with people added to the wait list. Please be fair to them so that they have a chance to see if they are able to attend. This is also important so that we can give restaurants an accurate number as they are often busy and holding spots for us which could have gone to other customers.
I will send a reminder to everyone 3 days before the dine out. Canceling within 24 hours of the dine out time or not showing up will both count as a strike (unless you were on the wait list and were added because someone dropped out within 24 hours). If you get 3 strikes in a year you won't be able to attend future dine outs.

Join ARC for our monthly volunteer meeting on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm, held at Ethique Nouveau β ARC's office space and vegan boutique.
With Twin Cities Pride Festival on the horizon, we have plenty to do: stuffing leaflets, cutting stickers, making signs, and more. Come lend a hand and make it happen!
To celebrate Pride month, we'll also be hosting a vegan potluck β bring something plant-based to share with the group. Rainbow-themed dishes get bonus points. Wear your favorite color or dress in your best Pride look!
All are welcome. You don't need to be vegan to attend ARC events.
