|1||2 Vegan Entrepreneurs Meeting at 1:00 pm
Connie and AmyLeo, long-time animal advocates and ARC members are looking to build a Vegan Services Collective and Directory. If you are a vegan and have a business or service that you would like to promote this is for you. We will take a moment to introduce ourselves and our businesses and then discuss how we can best support our fellow vegans by purchasing their goods and services. The long-term goal is to create a directory (e-directory and possibly a paper directory). This will be a joint venture and so we are (also) seeking individuals who are interested in and have the appropriate skills to move this project forward. Feel free to bring a vegan snack to share with others. RSVP at Minneapolis Vegan Meetup: http://www.meetup.com/vegan-415/ Paul McCartney Concert Tabling at 7:00 pm

The book is notable in that different groups of people are portrayed as different animals – those persecuted as mice, and those persecuting as cats, for example. We will explore how Maus also discusses race, gender, and religion, along with animals. This is a unique book in its treatment of animals.
