Join ARC volunteers, Eli and Mikina, at their home for a laid-back afternoon of games, good company, and delicious vegan snacks. This is a fun way to connect with others who care about animals—and maybe discover your new favorite board game.

What to Expect:

A variety of games (feel free to bring your favorite!)
Some vegan snacks and beverages provided
Fresh popcorn from their in-home popcorn machine
Great conversations with like-minded folks
What to Bring:
A vegan snack to share—homemade or store-bought, as long as it’s walnut-free (see allergy note below).
Important Notes:

Allergy alert: No walnuts, please. There is an airborne walnut allergy in the home.
Pets: Cats and dogs live here—plan accordingly if you have allergies.
Parking: Street parking is available. Please do not block the driveway, as it’s shared with neighbors.

Join us for a peaceful protest against Four Paws and a Tail, on public property near Northtown Mall, 398 Northtown Drive NE, Blaine, Minnesota from Noon - 1:30 PM.

Meet us at the intersection of County Road 10 and Jefferson, on the grassy area in front of Chipotle, under the large red Cub Foods sign. You can park in the Chipotle lot or the large lot near Chipotle. Signs are provided but you're welcome to bring your own!

We oppose Four Paws and a Tail's business model of buying companion animals from large-scale, commercial breeding facilities and selling them to the public. We also oppose the idea that because a breeding facility is USDA licensed, it is also ethical.

We’re organizing a fur-free thrift event!

Volunteers will break into teams of four, with an ARC leader in each vehicle, and we'll visit thrift stores in Minneapolis to encourage them to adopt a fur-free policy for the items they put on the shelves.

Each team will be equipped with materials explaining why refusing to sell secondhand fur is an ethical and impactful choice, along with an actionable alternative.

We'll encourage them to commit to becoming an affiliate of the ARC Cuddle Coats program. When they get a fur in stock, they can contact us and we'll pick up the unwanted furs, which will then be repurposed to benefit orphaned, injured, or sick wildlife in rehabilitation centers across the country.

To support participating stores, we’re also developing a window cling that lets them proudly display their commitment to compassionate retail practices.

After the outreach event, we’ll all meet up to share stories and celebrate over dinner at a local vegan restaurant!

We’re hosting a food drive to collect non-perishable, plant-based food items for a local food shelf. All donations must be vegan, new, and within their expiration or best used-by date. Drop by anytime between 1 - 3 pm to leave a donation.

There will also be a vegan pop up, Dolly's Vegan Kitchen, on site should you want to buy some nibbles to enjoy!

The holiday season can be one of the most challenging times for vegans, as we navigate relationships with family and friends while staying true to our beliefs.

Join us for our monthly volunteer meeting, where we'll come together to discuss how to thrive during the holidays as vegans. We’ll cover topics like attending non-vegan celebrations, hosting gatherings for family, choosing to opt out of holiday traditions, and much more. This is a space for us to share our experiences, exchange advice, and support each other during this often tricky season.

This discussion is also helpful for non-vegans who want to better understand and support their vegan loved ones.

Everyone is welcome! You don’t have to be vegan to join ARC events.

Food and beverages will be provided but we would love if you would be willing to share a vegan holiday treat with the group!
